When it comes to image manipulation, Windows’ PAINT program is good enough for the likes of me. And one of its coolest features is “invert color,” which produces essentially a color negative. And in an odd way, it actually shows you what color the world “really is”…by that I mean, you see the colors objects absorb, as opposed to the ones it reflects.

After a while, blue people with black teeth can get a little boring, but I never get tired of looking at 50s/60s aqua paint jobs, like these ghost-world images of Chevy Apache trucks…

You can see the originals at Stolf’s Blogs…link below…for 6/3/2011. Also there a few weeks ago, I wondered there what the world would be like if, when we were kids, vanilla things were colored aqua or purple instead of white…check it out…

You might recall the cover of 10 Years After’s 2nd LP “Undead”…today we can see it for what it really was…(BTW, “undead” as in “live”…recorded live at a club…)

And combine inverted colors with other computographic tricks, and oo-la-la…
