Wicked Ballsy Necktie Party

It’s amazing what some savers will save…offered recently on Ebay, the entire necktie mailing from Haband, from the 1950s, intact after all this time…

Did your Dad get these in the mail? Yup, the same Haband that’s become famous for Sansabelt pants and casual footwear that falls apart after 3 weeks.  Here’s close-up of some of the groovy bow-ties available…even pink and gray, to match your car…

And from 1950, their neckties from a magazine ad…doozies, every one…what I’d like to know is, how did they decide which designs to reject as being too far out?!?!

My sister and I were reminiscing about these recently…the necktie advertising slips were big favorites at our house, and yes, I even saved a couple…just liked the colors, I think…but they were getting more conservative by this time, nez pah? Get tweedy!

shameless plugs, over, under, around and thru…
