Cherchezing les Femmes, part Too…

Dear friends, it’s my blog and I can do what I want. Still, I have a sneaking suspicion that half (at least) of my readers will see it my way. And we begin with Joey Heatherton…Joey, Joey, Joey…I’ve always considered that what the Beatles were to music, she was to — well, you know…

Next, this is Frances Gifford from the 1941 movie serial Jungle Girl. ..and this is one of those absolutely perfect Baby Boomer pictures…it sums up what was right with the world, pre-1960, IMHO…black and white and all…

Now the thing about Phoebe Cates was, she always looked like someone you very well could have gone to high school with…not that she’d ever go out with you,  as if you could ever get up the courage to ask, but I’m just sayin’…

And not for nothing, but recently on my other blog,  I mentioned that “fink” is the German word for “finch”…so any excuse, sez me…and if you don’t know who this is, I feel sorry for you, and that’s a fact, Jack…actually, I’m getting ahead of myself…finky finches will be Saturday…sorry, man…

shamelesse plugettes…
